Dogs get a job and a limit

Dogs get a job and a limit. It is smaller than the day, and that is the point. Look at the dog's water, lead, and stop time first.

At the truck

Then pack the dog's water and decide when the dog is done. Mark the turn-around time before you mark anything else.

The slip

Watch for an open day for a dog with no water of its own. If it is already true in the parking area, it will be worse a mile in.

The check is the dog has water and a moment when the hunt ends. Fail it and you are done for the morning. That is a successful use of the note.

Keep before you leave boring. Boring means you came home with the same people you left with.

A field note, not legal advice. Check the season, the species rules, and whether you have permission to be on the land.
