Then test it in the driveway and put it in an outside pocket. Mark the turn-around time before you mark anything else.

Watch for a light found dead at the truck after dark. If it is already true in the parking area, it will be worse a mile in.
The check is the lamp turns on before you need the walk out. Fail it and you are done for the morning. That is a successful use of the note.
