Quiet on the way in, quiet on the way out
Quiet on the way in, quiet on the way out. It is smaller than the day, and that is the point. Look at noise from gear and talk first.
At the truck
Then tape the buckle that clicks and save the talk for the truck. Mark the turn-around time before you mark anything else.
The slip
Watch for a loud walk after an empty morning. If it is already true in the parking area, it will be worse a mile in.
The check is the walk out is as quiet as the walk in. Fail it and you are done for the morning. That is a successful use of the note.
Keep on the land boring. Boring means you came home with the same people you left with.
A field note, not legal advice. Check the season, the species rules, and whether you have permission to be on the land.
